  i guess it started last year when i found myself losing my zeal, desire for spiritual things.

  i grew up a jw kid until the age of twelve.

  since then i have lived a worldly life.

  i have enjoyed alot of my life experiences, but i now feel like i am lost.

  four years ago the watchtower made the following demand.

  all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.

  they are not content with obedience and in the upcoming june watchtower they have this to say -15. how does respect for theocratic headship reveal our love for jehovah’s way of ruling?15 what is our response to divinely authorized headship?

  i have had it confirmed now, that since stopping attending over 18 months ago, the elders have set out to deliberately ruin my name and character .. they have been talking to every witness from the local area and saying things like "be careful of him, he has the ability to implant thoughts in your minds, and he only pretends to be kind and caring".

  so, all i have to say to them is, "bravo!

  if that is the method you want to employ, you have reached the very depths of bad behaviour!".

  ".........the Watchtower organization urges elders to maintain confidentiality, when they legally impale themselves by breaking confidentiality the moment they share a confession with other elders...... Watchtower attempted to claim clergy privilege to protect themselves, but this was denied multiple times by the court."

  I'm totally bewildered at the U.S. judiciary's ineptitude to bury the WTBTS's "clergy-penitent" red-herring once and for all time!

  Recent legal precedents (including this case) have proven J.W. elders do not keep J.C.'s confidential!

  some people like to believe in something others believe in nothing; so in what location did the substance that expanded into the time/space universe exist before the big bang?

  where did the energy that caused the big band come from?

  how did the substance that became the big bang change from being inert and sterile and come to life to having the properties and drive that it does?

  A straightforward choice for most people: God & eternal life, or Darwinism & eternal death after 70 years or so.

  i have mentioned this illustration in conversation with several dubbies, to draw attention to their foolishness in following watchtower's false reasoning.. in the illustration, there are two kinds of virgins, or people.

  i started to realize it wasn't the truth over 2 years ago in late october/early november 2014. i don't know how exactly it happened.

  i remember i had just heard about confirmation bias, and it hit me: i realized that i would be guilty of confirmation bias if i didn't look at the other side.
